as the days go by, reading the posts of other LGs, I am realizing how important the figure of the Local Guide is. I often talk about this subject, I am proudly involved, and I would like to make myself more and more useful every day. I don’t live in beautiful places where I can produce breathtaking images, but I live in a beautiful place: Abruzzo, a lovely place 11 km from the sea and 28 from the mountain. I live in Villamagna, the land of the Saracens, where on July 13 the Feast of S. Margherita, the patroness of the villamagnesi, is represented. It is a source of pride to have become a Local Guide. Since I was a boy I liked to give advice to tourists who arrive. I could give indica6 precise thanks to my linguistic knowledge and I was really happy when they understood me and reached their goals. Now I have grown a lot and I find myself in the same context and I can make use of the technology provided you do mass media … this is remarkable, being able to help others.
