My Food Exploration (Part 3) - Live Ice Cream

Hello foodie local guides

My love for food takes me to new places and try out different types of food and dessert.

Today I want to share one of my favourite dessert Ice Cream!!!

I really like to experiment when it comes to ice cream, from Sundae, kulfi to roll ice cream. I love to try fresh fruit flavours and some of the classics.

On my trip to Gujarat, I was exploring the local places around and came across this ice cream parlour called Monika Ice Cream which serves live tawa ice cream. It’s basically a Cold pan on which they pour the liquid and add the flavouring ingredients to smash and make rolls.

It is really fascinating to watch the process and you also get to pick your flavours.

I ordered chocolate and kaju gulkand (cashew nuts with sweetened rose petals)

Both the ice creams were very flavourful and delicious

I tired the similar one in Mumbai during one of my meet up, with fellow local guides

We had sizzling Brownie for which the vanilla ice cream was made live and a fruit sundae which had deliciousness of strawberry, apple and banana which were scooped and topped with sprinklers, jelly, fruit syrup.

Hi @FalguniP it looks quite delicious. I think ice cream is one of our favorite foods. But I definitely recommend you to try Turkish ice cream.:smiling_face: :+1:t2:

Hi @FalguniP , in this winter you tasted Ice-cream, it’s a brave decision. I enjoyed your post. I never tasted live Ice-cream, but surely one day I’ll try.

The colour of Ice-cream looks good, and the Ice-creams are mouthwatering.

@Saiyen winters are best time to enjoy Ice cream :face_with_hand_over_mouth: on your next visit to India I will take you with me to try all food that I share :grin:

Surely, one of the most liked foods in the world - unfortunately, I am not very fond of ice creams -
