This morning I had my very first meet up which made very happy because with the situation of the world I wasn’t sure when I was going to be able to make it, I had read about virtual meetings which I think they are a great idea. Fortunately I follow @AlexandreCampbell and he came up with virtual meeting that I joined.
It was pretty early for me It was Brazil time 9:00 am while for me it was 6:00 am in Mexico City it didn’t really matter, I was so excited to meet people from de community and for other countries. We were around 11 participants.
I had a very good time sharing and listening their experiences, we introduced our selves, we share the time we have been contributing to Google Maps, the lenguague that we use to write our reviews either english or native languaje, if we know about this community before etc.
One more time, thanks to the participants of the meet up and thanks @AlexandreCampbell for hosting it. It was great.
it was a huge pleasure meeting you and indeed it was a very nice meetup, talking and sharing with all the other Local Guides. You did a very good job attending at so early time hehe .
@Ale_003 Hola, Tocaya! I’m glad that you had fun at your first meetup. I hope that soon you can also attend a face-to-face meetup in your country or even host one. We had a great time and learned a lot from each other. See you soon!
