Since I was a Child I have always been fascinated with Snow. Born and raised in the hilly regions of Nepal, I never got to experience it, until I traveled to Australia for a short vacation with my mum in the June of 2015.
I could see the scene change as we got closer to Mount Baw Baw and I got a chill inside me. As soon as we reached the top, I got out of the car and ran towards the snow… I was a child again. The view was absolutely breath taking and the first time I felt the snow with my bare hands was one of the best experiences of my life. Ah!!! I had a snow ball fight with my brother and my cousins, we had a competition where the first one to reach the bottom of the mountain on a sledge (I don’t really know what those things are actually called) would get to choose where to go for dinner afterwards. It was an amazing experience that I will forever cherish in my heart.
I was too busy admiring the beauty of the mountains and just playing in the snow that I didn’t take any photos of the place. But I have a couple of mine which were taken by someone in my family.
My love for snow is true… I got to experience it a second time in a different country, but that is a whole other experience.
