My first post in Local Guide, the introduction of 7-a-side Soccer Pitches in Kowloon, Hong Kong

Hello everyone, I used Google Maps for years and this is my first time to post in Google Local Guides Connect.

I love to play soccer and I would like to share more about soccer, soccer pitches and all soccer related stories in Hong Kong to you in the posts and I will start with two 7-a-side Artificial Turf Soccer Pitches in Kowloon.

There are six 7-a-side Artificial Turf Soccer Pitches in Kowloon.

  • Kowloon Bay Park
  • Hing Wah Street West Playground
  • Morse Park (Park No.3)
  • Cherry Street Park
  • Kwun Tong Recreation Ground
  • Shun Lee Tsuen Park

Cherry Street Park is very close to Yau Ma Tei MTR(Mass Transit Railway) Station, and walk about 10 minutes. I personally think it is the best soccer pitch in the list.

Google Map: Cherry Street, Kowloon

Ancillary Facilities: A booking office, toilets, changing rooms, lockers and shower compartment are provided in the Park.

Other facilities include a piazza, 4 tennis courts, 2 basketball/volleyball courts, a jogging track, a children’s playground and elderly fitness stations.

Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Tactile Guide Path, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan

I always play soccer matches there in the night of the weekends.

Last time I went there, the game was cancelled as a player got hurt in the field. ?
