I moved from my house 2 years ago, that old house was within an area that I lived as a child, student, and my kid’s school too. so I know that area by heart. my new house was in the city suburbs, around 30 km away from the city center. where everything to me and my family is new. this where we agreed as a family to use google map as a platform to update all what are we looking for among us.
I found out there are so many shops or attraction that not yet in map. I found so many that closed or in the wrong location. this is where I started my interest to be a local guide.
I found that helping others including my family to go directly to the needed attraction is very useful, save time and save effort. it part of our traditions and faith to help others.
When we traveled around Europe last summer, google map was the main reason to cancel our plan to use the train to renting
car. it was a great help and full of useful information to all our hotels, restaurants, museums and other attractions that we wanted to go or visit.
I and my family are very grateful to google map, and I found myself committed to continue as a local guide for google.
when I get myself familiar to local guides connect web page, I was shocked that there are almost no activities for the guides here in Riyadh. so I am hoping I will start a meetup soon. and try to spread around this interest around.
