Last Thursday, I’ve been to my first meet up as a local guide. There’s something really powerful about meeting other passionate people. I wasn’t expecting much from this meeting but there was a part of me that wanted it to be the first step toward a bigger community.
I was pleased to see that I wasn’t the only one who liked the idea. I even had the pleasure to meet someone who was a local guide for such a long time. He told us about his experience and how Montreal used to have a stronger community. It was inspiring to finally be able to share ideas with others.
With those people, I hope we’ll be able to restart a big community in Montreal. I cannot thank the local guide program enough for helping me meeting those incredible and inspiring persons!
