Hi!
This is my first post, is meant to be part of my application for the local guides connect event on November. I think Google maps is an amazing tool, I have moved six times in the last five years and it sure has help me every time I’m been new to a place. And using it I started to discover places recommended by others, witch I think is a great way to promote local economy and small business. I come from a long line of shopkeepers and really feel that is great to have the opportunity of leaving good reviews for people who work hard given an amazing experience to their clients and visitors.
I’m relatively new to this Local Guide Connect community and I will love to learn how to use it in a manner that will build up the way people move around the city. I want to learn, for example, how can I contribute to give more visibility to street art in the Google maps app. I’m currently living in Buenos Aires and it’s a city full of great murals and art pieces. One of the reasons why I will love to go to the San Jose event is to learn from other guides their experience on this topic. I think it will be a terrific opportunity.
And in the mean time I will be taking any suggestions the readers of this post want to give me.
