Hi, everyone!!
I´m Maxi from Rosario, Argentina. My beautiful and full of life city is the main reason to be a Local Guide. We have so many things to share: monuments, history, natural beauties and incredible corners around the city… It´s impossible stop share! I´m so proud about my city and I want everyone knows and I wish everyone can visit us!
Rosario, Santa Fe province, belongs to the central coastal region of the country. You should know that in our city the world icon Ernesto “Che” Guevara was born! And, for soccer lovers, in my city was born Messi, too, the best soccer player currently! We have many memorials builds or monuments about Che Guevara and significant places in the life of both!
In Rosario we have a beatiful coasts towards the Paraná river, one of the longest and most powerful rivers in the world! Almost all city is watching the Paraná and the wonderull bridge that connects Rosario with Victoria, a little city across the river. In summer people enjoy the beaches and the close islands so much!
In Rosario we have a very rich cultural life, lots of theaters, squares with amphitheatres, bars with stages where local and visit artists can share their music, plays or shows. The talent of artists from Rosario are recognized in entire country!
At last, in Rosario is the Argentine Flag Memorial Monument to honor our flag and its creator, the hero of the Fatherland, Manuel Belgrano, one of the most important patriots. This monument is huge and it represents our country, Argentina, like a big ship sailing to freedom. The monument have beautiful statues, some of the renowned Argentine feminist artist Lola Mora. It´s awesome!
