At first I’m very proud to be part of Google Local Guides.
I want to share my story with my friends after I became a member of this wonderful program and how I was able to convince them to participate and the importance of sharing and evaluating the places we visit.
At first we were in a restaurant on the weekend and at the end of the meeting I told them about the program and I wanted to evaluate the restaurant. They started to laugh, why and why, so I explained to them that we were impressed with this place. After evaluating it we would encourage others to come to it. But they were not entirely convinced.
After a week and at the next meeting a friend suggested a restaurant to go to, I browsed over Google and found that the evaluation was not excellent and I told him so but there was a determination to go to this place, I was afraid to go to find out whether these assessments are true or not.
At the end of the session we found that what I told them was true and at the moment I told them the importance of what I explained to them before. Indeed, everyone showed a great desire and they all participated in and evaluated the place.
I am very happy for what happened.
I am very proud of Google, and this program in my personal opinion (Local Guides) is one of the coolest and most important programs in the world. I wish I could involve all my friends in it.
