Hello friends, my collaboration with Google Maps does not have the beginning that usually one is used to hearing, it was from a bad experience that I decided to use the Google Maps services to give my first negative review and really serious.
It happened a few months ago, but I remember it as if it had happened yesterday. I remember that we traveled shopping with my family to Rio Grande, a city located 210 km from Ushuaia and we spent the day traveling around places and looking at prices, buying different types of household items. And at night we arrived exhausted to the apartment so we just wanted to eat something and go to sleep. With my brother we went to explore the city looking for a fast food house and found a single open place that was not far away. We made our request and we agreed to return 30 minutes later to withdraw the order.
We returned, we paid and we left, but when we arrived at the apartment we realized that the service had been good but the product they gave me was very bad. They tricked me, I asked for one thing and they gave me something completely different. That’s what bothered me.
I made the claim by phone and I wanted to go back and break the glass with huge stones (ok, I’m exaggerating a little hehe) but then I did not want to see those people again and do not come back. After a few days, I got the classic slogan Google Maps encouraging me to tell my experience about the site visited and I thought it was a good opportunity to share my bad experience, and so I did.
That was how I began to internalize the possibilities Google Maps offered for those who would not only tell their experience but also upload photos and videos, providing more information about the site and answer questions of other people around the world.
I found just that if he shared my bad experiences also it was necessary to share the good times, and so I did.
Thank God I have had the possibility to travel to many places and have been experiences that have marked my life. That’s why I firmly believe that sharing those moments can inspire people, who will never know, to be encouraged to live new experiences
Now Google Maps has become part of my life, has changed my way of thinking and living new places. Now when I’m somewhere I’m thinking about taking good pictures or recording some video to share them later. I think of frequent questions that some tourist could think of doing and I ask them to the sellers and then leave a more complete review. Google Maps infected me with that disease called “Share, share and share” hehe
Well … I think it’s important to rescue the good from the bad times hehe
Thanks for reading and I wish you the best for this year
