My favourite mission, help everyone to find the perfect pizza! 🍕

The Local Guides program means a lot for me, we have the power to help people around the world to have a great time and to be happy! ?We are all very different and we all like different things, different food, different places, different atmospheres… What could be better than having an online platform where you can find the point of view of locals? Share your best experiences and tips? Every work needs to be rewarded, and I feel that all these amazing businesses out there need us and deserve our attention.

I have been living in four different countries in less than five years and every time the most challenging step for me in a new place is to get some habits. What I mean by that is mainly discovering places I love to go and feel at home. It takes some time to find these places that become special for any of us little by little or sometimes it can also be love at first sight! Thanks to the Local Guides Community, in every new country, I found these special spots that suit me and make me feel comfortable. I was so grateful to the community so many times that it was just natural for me to start doing the same to help other people. That’s how I started to be part of it.

Another important thing to know about me is that I’m crazy about food, especially pizza, and I have to admit that I’m quite picky with my pizza crust, really picky to be honest. It has to be exactly one way, the way I love (Thick and soft all around and super thin is the middle, if you were wondering ?). So I started to challenge myself to find the best pizza in every new place I’m living or visiting. Every time I’m thinking that potentially thanks to me, other people will find their own perfect pizza. This thought just brings me joy, as I know how happy you can be when you eat something you really find delicious! ?

Food is for sure my favourite topic to review and talk about, it has always been a sacred sharing moment in my family. Besides restaurants, bakeries… I also like to review parks, museums and local shops.

I always feel useful when I try new places and review them. It’s such a nice feeling to be part of a community and see how we can help each other every day. The idea of having an impact really motivates me! I always wait to have some time to review places properly and don’t do it in a rush. It’s kind of my small ritual every weekend, taking a cup of tea and taking time to review the new places I discovered during the week.

Every month, I’m really looking forward to receiving my Local Guides email, I’m always smiling to myself and I feel I did something good. My boyfriend thinks I’m a bit addicted to my Google Map app but in the other hand he also says that he has never seen me so passionate and dedicated to something since he knows me. It’s my little pleasure. It’s now part of my weekly habits, and I simply love it! ?
