In India there are several hill stations, i would like to mention one of my favourite hill station is the Darjeeling where i had recently visited the place, which is also called " Queen of Hills ". The most mesmerising place in Darjeeling is the Sunrise point in Tiger Hill. From there you got to witness the summit of Kangchenjunga, at the moment of sunrise the mountain filled with a blanket of sunrays that gives an astonishing view of golden lights. Darjeeling is also famous for its Tea, all the mountains are covered with tea gardens and the most famous tea garden is the happy valley tea garden in Singamari. I am overwhelmed to see the beautiness of the place and how can i forget the Toy train in darjeeling which runs through the valley of mountains which filled the spirit with perfect bliss.

Great to come across a post about Darjeeling. We stay very near Darjeeling and have been there quite a number of times. and you are absolutely right Darjeeling is full of mesmirising views and lots of tea estates like Happy Valley, Castleton, Makaibari, Soreni just to name a few… Next time if you plan to come do drop a message we can always catchup…
