My favourite ♿ Accessible place : LuckyOne Mall, Karachi

As part of our advocacy, #OneAccessibility, we will share information about differently able and profile one location with accessible trails. Look out every week for this enlightening post.

It’s definitely not possible if you live in Karachi, and you never visit Lucky one Mall.

Luckyone Mall is probably the largest Shopping Mall in Pakistan with almost 3.4 million square feet of Covered area, more than 200 massive & small Shops and Stores, and a parking area for 1200 cars.

And no doubt it’s the best place for Karachities for shopping, entertainment, and dining.

But as a local guide, we usually watch a place with different eyes, and especially if you are committed and have so much enthusiasm for :wheelchair: Accessibility.

In my numerous visits, I always noted what they have unique there? which is making this place so much comfortable for all visitors. And yes you guess right, it is :wheelchair: Accessibility.

Lucky one mall, my favorite place for shopping, food, and entertainment is fully accessible for people with different abilities, with Accessible Car Parking, Accessible Ramps, Accessible Lifts (They Have Elevators for other people also and Lifts as well) Accessible Washrooms, and Accessible Seating arrangement in the whole food court, to facilitate people with different abilities.

That’s the reason, I and my family usually spend our time here instead of going anywhere else, where we can see people with different abilities find it hard even to enter there. You can check the List of :wheelchair: Accessible Shopping Malls in Karachi here.

Is there any Accessible Shopping mall around you or in your city? You can write about your favorite Accessible Shopping mall in the comments below.

If you have a question, suggestion, or contribution, feel free to comment below. You can read last week’s roundup article here and check the list of our other articles under “Accessibility Uncovered”.

Hello @KashifMisidia ,

your post is so interesting! :star_struck: :shopping: :wheelchair:

Thank you so much for sharing! :+1:t2:

A lot of shopping malls are here in Hamburg and also in other cities in Germany. :de:

All shopping malls are wheelchair accessible. I don’t know any shopping mall here, which isn’t wheelchair accessible. :grinning: :+1:t2: :wheelchair:

Elevators are built into all shopping malls and every shop has wheelchair accessible entrances without stairs. :grinning:

I very like it to visit all shopping malls in my city, because I can take photos of so many different shops and places for Google Maps and I can improve a lot of these places on Google Maps, which makes so much fun and helps a lot of Google Maps-users as well as the businesses. :world_map:

I also like it to spend my free time in shopping malls for seeing beautiful decorations which are sold in department stores and I like the great variety of different restaurants. :sparkles:

I’m so sad that the most shops are closed, because of the Covid-19-Lockdown at these time. :disappointed_relieved:

Please stay healthy and safe! :bouquet: :mask:

Many warm greetings from Hamburg, Germany! :de:

Yes @Erna_LaBeau Lucky One and other Shopping malls are fully equipped with all necessary Accessibility Features. Even last time i visited another mall, namely Dolmen Mall, which made me happy when I see some old ladies on Wheelchair were also enjoying shopping because of Accessibility facilities there.
