Hi everyone!
When people think of Riyadh, they often imagine modern towers and luxury cafes, but my absolute favorite place to review on Google Maps is a cozy, traditional spot called “Shai & Simsim” (شاي وسمسم).
What makes this place special to me is its pure simplicity. It isn’t about fancy décor—it’s all about enjoying a traditional hot pot of tea with fresh mint, paired with simple local snacks like sesame baked goods. Sitting there with friends, sipping hot tea, and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere is the ultimate way to unwind after a long day.
As a Local Guide, I love sharing places like this because they show the warm, authentic side of the city’s food and tea culture.
