My favorite review of 2020 on Google Maps #CommunityReviewChallenge

As someone who enjoys writing reviews, it was quite difficult to pick my best and favorite review from the year 2020. Going with nostalgia and the memories that it carries, I’d have to say that my favorite and best review for 2020 is The Pavilion Restaurant, Abuja, Nigeria.

I visited the Pavilion on 31st December 2019 but I didn’t get to review it until January 2020 and that means this review was my very first review for the year 2020. At the time my friends and I dined at the Pavilion, we all made plans for 2020 and had no idea how much our lives would change due to the Pandemic and all the loss that we faced this year. We were so hopeful then and we are still hopeful now because the Christmas and the coming year will be kind to us all.

As my first review of the year 2020, my review of the Pavillion set the tone for how detailed and thorough all the reviews that I intended to write for the year would be. It was also selected as the first ever review of the week for the year 2020 on Local Guides Connect in this post by @KatieMcBroom . She even stated and I quote that “The review is also packed full of helpful information like this throughout: “It is an open plan space which is great for groups and informal dates, however parking is a bit of a struggle. The best time to come here is in the early evening as the sun sets.””

These are therefore the reasons why I have selected this review. It is detailed and packed with helpful information which I believe would help any user of Google Maps. It truly captures the words “To find places worth visiting and the things worth doing” and the Pavilion is definitely a place worth visiting in Abuja.

The Pavilion is also featured on this list whcih I created on Google Maps : 6 Amazing Places to Eat in Abuja.

I’m even considering visiting the Pavilion again on 31st December 2020.

The food pictures looks delicious and the artwork inside the restaurant looks nice. Your review is very informative covering all the critical points you noticed during your visit. This kind of detailed review will indeed benefit the potential customers in restaurant selection and the business in advertising their brand. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful post @Zino

That’s a pretty detailed review @Zino , indeed. If someone reads this they will not have to read other reviews for having an opinion about the restaurant. Nicely written with great photos. Thanks for sharing.
