I was looking back at my photo contributions to Maps hoping to find a relevant photo to share with the Community Photo challenge suggested by @AdrianLunsong , read the post below for more information on how to take part.

I felt a affinity to this specific photo (link here) taken at the Perdana Botanical Gardens (Google Maps Location) taken during our physical meet-up during the loosening of the movement control (Recap here).
After being cooped up for so many months, we were finally given some freedom of movement (which then went away again shortly there after). The Malaysia Local Guides community took the chance to get some fresh air, see some greenery, and stretch our aching muscles a little.
This particular photo is meaningful for me. Look at the beautiful green foliage with the blue sky background. Life goes on, nature goes on, Covid or not. And look at the stillness of the water in the pond. The peace. And uninterrupted silence. At times, I can’t tell for sure which is the real image and which is the reflection.
We were happy that day. We got out. We were able to connect with nature again. The past few months it was difficult. Now we can also think about protecting the environment, if we lost this, it will be gone forever. Let’s keep green, recycle, reuse, and educate others to do the same.

Purtroppo, nel Mondo, stiamo tutti vivendo questo periodo di clausura come un obbligo moralmente difficile da superare, quindi quello che possiamo fare, semplicemente restando nelle nostre case, è proprio fantasticare. Ti ringraziamo di aver pubblicato questa foto, poichè ci regali proprio questa possibilità , ovvero di poter immaginare nella nostra mente di poter essere li in quel luogo tanto bello quanto irraggiungibile in questo momento. Ti saluto, con la speranza un giorno di poterlo vedere dal vivo e non solo in foto.

Nice one @StephenAbraham ! You know, I don’t think I’ve been to Tasik Perdana before! I will need to remedy that some day! The closest that I’ve been is to the Islamic Arts Museum which I really enjoyed! Plus it was a very hot day and the air conditioning and shade in the museum was definitely a welcome respite!
