Most people would agree more with me when I say, “We all have a favorite places that would be termed as so dear and special” For some it’s a place where a part of them has been enshrined into and only get a full blown experience whenever re-tracing their steps to the place all over again.
For others, lifetime memories has been created and are rekindled as they reminiscence back to the place. I find my way to the place whenever life’s storm deals its rage on me but most often than not, it’s a place where I find joy, peace and comfort.
I was born and brought in the city of Ikeja in Lagos State, Nigeria. Had my educational attainment in the city, I grew up hearing about great breath taking places; which in the course of my development to an adolescent , I eventually visited. Thirty-five years later, I moved to the south south region of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State precisely.
Akwa Ibom is a State in Nigeria; located in the coastal southern part of the country, laying between latitudes 4˚ 32ˈN and 5˚33ˈN, and longitudes 7˚25ˈE and 8 25ˈE. With an estimated population of 5.7 million people, the State is currently the highest oil and gas producing state in the country.
