This is Hacienda San Jorge, one of my favorites places in Colombia.
I like this place because you can feel the extreme connection with mother nature. But first, you must have access to a 4x4 vehicle to get there. Heres how: have to take main way Bogotá – Chiquinquirá for 2 hours, and then you must to take secundary road, it take you 45 minutes, because climb a difficult road until you reach the paramount at an altitude of 3000 meters.
At Hacienda San Jorge you will find exotic plants, differents animal species and abundance of water, including cold waterfalls too.
If you want to escape from the polluted and noisy city and are looking for peace, tranquility, rest and deep encounter with nature, you must to come and visit this beautiful place located between Boyaca and Santander regions from Colombia.
If you like to be in contact with animals you can take a horse ride along the trails and enjoy mountain landscape breathing the pure air of the countryside.
One of my favorite things to do is to get in direct connection with nature here, at only 3 hours away from Bogota, you can enjoy this amazing place in the colombian montains.
