I would like to share my experience in google maps because it not only helps users to make a better decision and easier to decide where to go and what to do but also to reward a city or restaurant or a mall etc., for good performance in its field.
As reviews are kind of like an on-demand emotional type of thing. if we had a poor experience, we should write a review in order to vent frustration and anger, especially if we feel personally mistreated or wronged. in the same manner, if we had an exceptionally good experience, we should applaud them with a good review for their hard work.
Need some more motivation to write reviews? here you go, write a review,
- To vent the frustrations if the experience was negative,
- Praising and helping the place if the experience was positive,
- As there is a need to express oneself and feel empowered in doing so,
- Since you want to be recognized or acknowledged for having certain knowledge/taste
- Since you are a part of a community and wanting to give back.
In a nutshell: “So why do we need to write reviews in Maps? In the end, there can be multiple reasons, but the most important part to realize is that we now have the greatest opportunity to voice our opinion, and our opinion matters a lot here.
