Hello everyone,
I am sure you all are doing great and enjoying the month of October! Apart from my usual travel posts and celebration of important days, I always wanted to highlight my experiences at different stays starting from my homestays on backpacking trips to the 5-star luxury stays on leisure trips.
So here is my post on a luxury stay after the one with backpackers Zostel, which talks about my experience with Trident Hotel in Mumbai.
Location: Trident is located at Nariman Point in Mumbai, a very well-known location to Mumbaikars and perhaps in India.
The speciality of this location: Nariman Point is very famous for its horseshoe-shaped coastal region also known as a ‘princess necklace’. The view of marine drive during daytime or nighttime is really a sensation for social media influencers and a very good spot for photography.
About Trident: Trident is a chain of luxury hotels all over India which is owned by the Oberoi group of hotels. One of them is at Nariman Point which is well known for its ocean views along with mesmerizing city and princess necklace view.
How to reach:
The closest railway station is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (central) or Churchgate (western line). One can also opt for Ola or Uber cab service or They provide a pickup and drop service on a chargeable basis or complementary (based on booking categories)
How to book: It is good to book the room via the Trident website or directly call them than any other website or app to avail the maximum benefits and discounts.
What difference did I experience?
Let me get to the point!! The higher the floor, the better the view! You got me right. Being a luxury hotel, Trident has all the charm that one might dream of. They have stays starting from the city views, the suits and club lounge and probably different categories in all! Having experienced multiple views at Trident earlier, we opted for the Princess Necklace View Lounge on my recent visit. And trust me, It was so satisfying!
About food: A note for food lovers- there are many options around Trident which serve the best food in town. But personally, the breakfast view is what made my experience altogether beautiful.
What activities I enjoyed:
Apart from just relaxing in the hotel room, My husband and son enjoyed their time in the swimming pool. Which is located on the first floor. The skyline view of Marine Drive from this level is very attractive during the entire day!
Even the waiting area has very engaging views, you can take pictures or enjoy the interiors!
Although I have visited Marine Drive multiple times since my childhood, the view that the localities of Nariman Point might have (from the top) is very different from what we experience from standing at Marine Drive. It was one of my best experiences to have witnessed the sunrise and sunset with that princess necklace view at Trident.
