My journey as a local guide started over a year from now. It began as a hobby to take pictures of the settings of food in restaurants, the ambiance and of
course the lovely mesmerizing sunsets of Lebanon. One day my friend shared with me her experience as a local guide, and I was so enthusiastic about the idea! I found it was the perfect way to make my hobby useful to my community.i started using local guide by sharing photos about restaurants and pubs I usually visit, sharing their ambiance and menu photos and reviewing the food, drinks and the overall customer experience, then I started experiencing new places to widen the experiences I was sharing, and I definitely couldn’t get enough of this excitement, and going up levels was becoming a new challenge and a new goal in my life.Throughout this year, I was excited to help local business owners, by adding reviews, and even adding some of these businesses to the maps, since some of them could not afford marketing and by doing so they reached a wider range of customers and improved their sales. It felt really good to be able to help these people.
Moreover, local guide was even more helpful during travelling. Through the experience of other local guides and google maps, it made our travel easier and the streets more reliable, knowing when to take a bus, how to avoid traffic, where to stop for taxis, where to use our bikes and finding places to go. Trust me with google u will feel safe and never lost !! and in return I also left my mark by adding my feedback and experiences while having fun doing so. Google as well shares with me how many people my expertise have reached and it makes me so happy to know that my reviews and photos are helping people choose or discover and experience what i shared giving them honest and real pictures .Google actually makes us feel how important are the little things we do to this word.
local guides are a big family all working together each one from a country and looking to show the best of this world sharing their interest and experience.
