This is an interesting point @user_not_found
, because you should not be here to represent your business, as this is against the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions : “Organizations, brands, and businesses are not eligible for the Program.”
However, as you are asking … why you are doing this as a Local Guide?
The best option for your businesses (It is correct that you have more than one?) is to add / manage them through the Google My Business program
Regarding the visibility, not all the places are “visible” in Google Maps, but you can find them by a search about the name or the category
I am checking the old questions asked by you here in connect, @user_not_found
, and my feeling is that you are providing a service to the businesses by adding them in Google maps. Am I correct?

Again, @user_not_found
If you really wants to help them, you should address them to Google My Business, so for them to be able to add, being verified Businesses, their details, and to change them.
If you made the changes for your family business under GMB, you should address your question to GMB, that is a different program, designed to interact with businesses.
Helping others is great, but mixing the two programs can end in unexpected results

Hello @user_not_found
It’s interesting to note you raised the same issue regarding non-accepance, or delay in the approval of edits thrice on this forum.
Earlier you claimed, some supposed Google employees were falsifying the information.
You acknowledged my answer too in that response.
Previous to that you raised the similar topic.
But then, have you gone through the article as suggested to you in that earlier response?

I suggest doing so once again.
Anyway, you can guide your clients to claim their businesses either through Maps or GMB.
Once claimed, it becomes easier to update the business information through GMB.
Additionally, you can make a summary of all the required changes & post the issue in the community tab of Google Maps support forum.
The link is here.
