Hello Local Guides!
I’m a Local Guide from Bangladesh, and today I want to share a special and joyful moment with you all.
Recently, a flower bloomed on my dragon fruit plant for the very first time. The image below captures that beautiful moment! I was so excited when I saw the flower in the morning, glistening with raindrops. It was a breathtaking sight and truly made my day.
Photo I took myself:
This flower is not only beautiful but also has a mild, pleasant fragrance. Since it blooms only briefly—usually at night and wilts by the next morning—I felt lucky to witness it and capture it with my camera.
A few facts about the flower:
It’s a dragon fruit flower (also called Night Blooming Cereus).
Blooms at night and only lasts a few hours.
Fruit starts forming shortly after the flower falls off.
As a Local Guide, I love sharing moments from nature and life around me. I wanted to share this happiness with the community.
Have you ever seen a dragon fruit flower bloom? Or grown one yourself?
I’d love to hear your stories too!
