I’ve spent an hour writing titles of my photos (and saw the +3 every time I completed one), funny thing is - when I went to my profile the points were not added 
Did it happen to any of you?
If so, were you able to claim them?

There appears to be a bug in the new updating software that was activated a few days ago.
I have been told that a software team are now looking at the problem.
I hope it gets fixed soon.

There is no bug, but I believe you might not be aware of the difference between the old kind of captions and the new type of captions related to updates from visitors. Points are hugely different. You need to go to the explore tab in the App and add an update to get the 15 points for a caption. Or you can visit a place sheet and from there open the “Update” tab and under Updates from visitors add a new update with a fresh picture.

Besides the info @Mortencopenhaegen gave you, keep in mind that it sometimes takes some time for the stats to be updated. When I e.g. edit places, it sometimes takes some days or a week before the points I earned are appearing in my stats. Consider getting points as a bonus, not as a goal itself. If you contribute only for getting points, you will be disappointed.
