My Contributions are not Posting Publicly

I have written 81 reviews to date but only 7 of them have posted.

All of my points seem to be present and my photos are being viewed but none of the reviews I’ve written beyond the first 7 are appearing.

Why are my contributions/reviews not posting? Please help …

Thank you but those links did not help much. I do not need to change my status to public vs. private, my email address is the same, and there are no map errors to report. The issue is my contributions/reviews for businesses are not populating. If you look at a business that I have reviewed, for instance, my ranking and comments will not show - only my photos.

@De_La_O , Hi, i can understand the issue.

Google maps is automated.

The populaity of your reviews are based on the user appreciation and more reviews are being posted on daily basis. In that case the recent one might appear.

I appreciate your help with this immensely.

I have 83 reviews to date. Please see attached photo. For some reason, my reviews are not posting publicly. My profile says that I’ve only posted 7 reviews when I’ve actually contributed 83 reviews and rankings. An example would be Graffiti Park. I posted a review on Graffiti Park about an hour ago but it is not populating on the business’s profile nor can you see it on mine.

Viewers can see my photos and my points but they cannot see any of my latest reviews - it has nothing to do with popularity because in trouble shooting, I had a friend of mine script her very first Google contribution and it populated immediately. I also had that same friend check for my Graffiti Park review and it was nowhere to be found.

For some reason, the majority of the reviews I have written are not appearing on the public domain.

Web version and Google Maps app are working on two different databases, that need some time to be synchronized. If you still have the issue, next Monday please reply in here for a check

Were you able to find your reviews? Mine are missing, as well. I am simply a Level 6 but I’ve only been avidly writing review these past few months. I’ve written a total of 84 (and counting - I’ve been reduced to using Yelp primarily because although it doesn’t have the foot traffic Google Maps does, it’s proven to be more reliable at posting reviews). Although I’ve made 84 contributions to date, my status bar populates 71 and profile only 7. I’ve tried sharing my reviews several times with various friends and they cannot seem to retrieve them either - they’ve simply disappeared and in some cases, never appeared! WTH’eck?? I’ve done several things to troubleshoot the issue. I’ve checked my privacy settings. I’ve logged out of every Google utensil I own and then have logged into a new device. I’ve updated my password. I’ve deleted pictures. I’ve deleted reviews and then added them back. I’ve shared my reviews several times with friends and they cannot seem to retrieve them. I’ve pretty much done everything short of deleting my current email address/profile and starting from scrap.

Most of my reviews have simply disappeared and in some cases, have never appeared!

There are other post about issues with reviews in these days, so let me escalate this situation. I think it is just some upgrade in the databases, but I want to go a bit deeply.

We would like to inform you that sometimes contributions that violate our policies are marked as private and do not count toward your Local Guides level. Please see our program rules. We review your account and it’s normal.

I also wanted to let you know that every edit submitted to Google Maps is either reviewed by an automated systems, local operators, or both, to ensure changes follow our guidelines. You can find more information about it on this post Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”?.

So, just to be clear, Google is actively choosing to block my reviews from the public.

Is this a socio-demographic decision?

What is the premise for the decision to BLOCK my review contributions?

Why am I specifically being blocked?

My reviews are not posting publicly.

EACH AND EVERY review follows the Local Guide Google Map program rules of a qualified post and absolutely none of them violate policy.

I’ve been completely singled out.

After weeks of trying to troubleshoot why Google has blocked my reviews, I’ve determined I lack the socio-demographic makeup of what qualifies as a Local Guide. Please help.

Do I need to delete my gmail profile of over 10 years and start fresh or should I continue to inquire blindly as to why my posts are not being allowed to be viewed publicly?

@De_La_O There are some reports about issues with reviews not viewable, that are being looked at, at the moment. Thanks for raising this.

please do not give a wrong interpretation to what @KatyaL said, that is explaining why a review can be blocked.

Your situation, as already indicated by @StephenAbraham and myself, is similar to the one of other Local Guides, that are reporting the same kind of issue (they cannot see their reviews under the “review” table of the profile).

In fact, if you check over your profile, you can see the number of reviews that are contributing to the point calculation.

This issue is under investigation.

I observed that from new days all my reviews are not visible publicly let it is 5star good comments or 1star bad comments any comments are not visible to public. What is the logic and when my account will be able to be viewed from outside I am not need to reviewing in Google. I am local guide level 8.
