Arulmigu Kapaleeswarar Temple
One of very old Shiva temple and divine place. Approximately 350 year old temple. Separate temple of karthikswami, Ganesh, parvati existing in same compound. Post darshan you can enjoy south Indian food in Ratna restaurant. Ratna sambhar is very famous.
2)Arulmigu Sri Parthasarathy Temple Divyadesam
Lord krishna with moustache. Height of krishna is around 10 feet. Lord krishna exists in five different forms in same temple. Like rama, sleeping vishnu. Post darshan you can enjoy coconut water.
- Ashtalaxmi Temple
Eight different forms of goddess laxmi. Temple next to sea beach. Enjoy local food near temple.
- Marundheswarar temple
Lord shiva shrine. Lord of medicine.
Believe to cure non cureable disease. Pond outside temple. Parking is issue here.
I believe everyone visiting chennai should these temples.
There are many more temple places to visit, but these are primary.
Most of south india has divya desam temples. Applicable for lord vishu.
