Connect Live Singapore 2026 was much more than a trip for me. It was a special milestone in my journey as a Google Maps Local Guide. Being invited to Singapore gave me the opportunity to meet passionate Local Guides from different countries and finally put faces to many friends I had known through Local Guides Connect.
The most important part of the event was the opportunity to connect directly with the Google Maps and Local Guides community. We shared our experiences, discussed challenges, exchanged ideas, and talked about how Google Maps can become more useful, accurate, accessible, and community-friendly. Connect Live is not simply a conference. It is a place where contributors can share real feedback and help shape the future of Maps.
