Chiniot (old name Chandaniot) was named after a Kings daughter who came here for Hunter expedition. charmed by the beauty of surrounding ,she ordered to construct a settlement here .This name was used until 1860 when it was renamed to Chiniot.
Situated on the bank of Chenab river, this city has a cozy and peaceful environment.
Umer Hayat Palace ,Shahi Mosque and River Chenab with a statue of Hindus “Lion God” on a hill, are major attractions.
Crossing the bridge of Chenab, Rabwa comes that’s the home to the Ahmadiya Muslims Worldwide movement.
