My awesome solo ride to Italy

Hello,

My name is Jordan Altena and I live in the Netherlands.

I am married with Dewie and we have one son Dean.

My hobby is to ride my motorcycle.
In 2019 I have done a solo ride to Austria and Italy.

This was so amazing.

First I drove to the black forest, over here the trip started.

Day 1

I drove at the border of Austria at the German site.
The call this the Alps route.

Day 2

Ad Zell am See I drove into Austria.

In Austria I went to the “Grossglockner”

The road to the “Grossglockner” is such incredible road.

Day 3
Day 3 I drove into Italy.
The mountains in Italy awesome, especially the dolemites

Day 4.
The breakfast this morning was great.
Enjoy a few sandwiches, an egg and yogurt eaten, a glass of multifit and a tea.

After the breakfast, I continued my ride through Italy.
The weather was great.

Day 5.

Breakfast in Italy is sometimes special

On my program for today is the Gavia pass, the Stelvio and the Reschen pass.

Which impressed me the most was Passo di Gavia.

At a height of 2621 meters, you did almost hear nothing except a little waterfall across the mountain.

From the top of the Gavia to the Stelvio is not that far (about 50 km)

I came from the side of Bormio, from this side you also have a nice overview of some curves

On top of the Stelvio, at 2758 meters the weather is still great, but white.

On top you have several food and shops where they sell stuff related to the Stelvio such as t-shirts and cycling clothing.

After the Stelvio I drove on to the Reschen pass.

I wanted to see the little church that is partially submerged, because a dam used to be built and an entire village was flooded.

After this I continued, through Austria and entered Germany.

I’ve set up on navigation now to go home, without highways.

It was a awesome motor holiday and I enjoyed the ride.
