Spring is almost over in US, but I enjoyed it to the max. I arrived in US over one month ago since Spring started. In my previous posts about US, I wrote about Winter but this time, believe me US, at least Washington and Oregon are at its peak - being at its most beautiful time to enjoy! I am over exciting to be able to see the dream of my life, the tulip at Skagit valley, but there are more to enjoy!
Pink Sakura along the Lake Washington Park, April 2022
Tulip is the iconic feature in Seattle [only few weeks from 2nd week of April and lasts for how long depends on the weather], but let’s keep that aside. I am a fan of any kind of flowers and let’s talk about flowers in general. From March, you will enjoy seeing different kinds of flowers bloom everywhere, whether it is wild or planted. You will see them everywhere, from grass, tiny shrub to bigger plants. Cherry blossom in Washington University or Olympia capitol is what you don’t want to miss, but I did miss it due to tight schedule. I will come back at the right time in my next trip, I hope

Pink Sakura along the Lake Washington Park, April 2022
There is plum or apple flowers blooming along the streets or even in the parks. Many people go out to the park and enjoy the scenery. I met the gardener who told me that you can enjoy the blooming from south to north in Washington state, starting from early March down the road. The weather is mild and pleasant to go out during this time, but it is not in every state. I went to Texas and honestly, it is just as hot as in Cambodia.
