My account got shadowbanned after mass revieweing Russian businesses with information about Ukraine

I reviewed ~50 business in Moscow with anti-war messages to let people know. Most of the reviews are now gone, some stay. I noticed my new reviews don’t show up in incognito mode so I guess Google shadowbanned me based on mass reporting by people of a country supporting war crimes and trying to hide, censor it.

Anything I can do to get that shadowban lifted?

I applauded trying to take action to help the Ukrainian people, but you clearly violated the guidelines stating that reviews need to be based on real life experiences with the place / products / services provided by the business.

This probably got you in trouble.

Suspended and sanctioned local guides can find help in my tutorial called How to Get In and Out of Trouble as a Local Guide.

Read the section about getting out of trouble. The appeals form might be what you could try.

Best of luck

Hi @jirinaforever

While I perfectly understand what you were doing, I agree with @MortenCopenhagen about why your reviews were removed.

This is your first post @jirinaforever Welcome to local guides connect! Please introduce yourself …

The key @jirinaforever is a Local Guide can only review a business/place they have personally experienced. Maps isn’t about social messaging. Use your socials for that. Your reviews are removed because they are not relevant to the place.

The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality.
