As a young and ambitious specialist, I am keen to work in employer - friendly environment. Being in active search for the best job, I’ve been in many office buildings in Riga. Some of them was just a place for the job interview, and in some I spent my working days for a year time or longer.
Here I would like to introduce 5 Business Centers in Riga, which impressed me and made me feel like “Oh, this is my dream workplace!”.
- Jupiter Center, address: 7 Skanstes Str.
Let’s start from a modern business center in the very heart of Riga’s business area, surrounded by high-quality comfortable environment at the European level. It is a Class A business center with 14 floors and a two-level parking place.
- VALDO business center, address: 58a Bauskas Str.
On the left bank of river Daugava and out of the city noise, VALDO business center has great infrastructure, public traffic accessibility, and a parking place for cars and bicycles. The building itself looks like huge cube made of glass, which makes it visible from a distance. My mom used to work here, so I had a chance to observe the neighborhood looking through the large window.
- Pebo Nami, address: 33 K.Valdemāra Str.
This place I love the best. Seriously, what could be better to work in a “retro style” office with spacious bright rooms with high ceilings and massive wooden doors. The cozy courtyard, blossoming in spring and having a large decorated Christmas tree in winter, is just the icing on the cake! Our office rooms were located at the very top, and it was real pleasure to go to the 5th floor by the marble staircase. Some of us used to work very late. Sometimes we heard strange noises in the lobby, when nobody could be there. As it is an old building, I might think that a ghost made this noise 
- Katrīnas Osta, address: 20 Katrīnas dambis Str.
This building has 6 floors with roof terrace. But unlike other business centers, it is newly built and has wonderful modern architecture – unusual to this area, which is called Riga Quiet Center and Art Nouveau District. In 2017 it won the “Best New Public Building” award in Latvia.
- Z-Towers, address: 30 Raņķa dambis Str.
The last, but not the least in this list. Multi-functional building Z-Towers complex consists of two round towers. Each tower has 30 floors. This complex is unique for Riga, as it includes apartments (North Tower), office space (South Tower), parking, fitness and SPA.
Would you like to live and work in one and the same complex where you can see your working place form the window of your apartment? 
I guess this is what the Future looks like. What I know for sure is that there is a spectacular view to the river Daugava and Old Town!
