It’s UNESCO world heritage site. My favorite rice terrace in Bali. I’ve been there 4 times and I love it. You can do trekking there. Beautiful green and beautiful yellow when near harvest time. I love when it’s green because it feels so fresh. You can see the view of mount Batukaru the 2nd highest mountain in Bali. And if the morning when the sky is clear you can see the top of the great Mount Agung, the highest mountain in Bali. The best time to go there is in the morning, fresh air and beautiful sunrise.
I’ve been there once but I love it, this hill is really far from my place that’s why I haven’t visited that place again. My friends and I visited this place early in the morning before sunrise then we enjoy the sunrise from the top of the hill, it so beautiful. The best time to go there early in the morning, so peaceful. You can find a temple too there on that hill.
A nice post with great photos @travelbyjp and thank you for showing us all here on Connect another side to Bali beyond the usual promoted touristic places like Kuta, Ubud, Nusa Dua and Seminyak, just to mention a few. Your photos compliment this vibrant green island and it’s great year-round weather really well
