I am quite excited this new September morning. There is a religious theme here in west Africa about September to remember . It’s not that I want to be religious,just that I am excited to have something to remember too on this 1st day of September.
The good news is,I have my 1st 360° street view photo approved. .
I have watched many YouTube videos on 360 photos and I have also had at least one private meetup with @MukulR over this. I have read different articles on connect also but never got the hang of it. Yesterday had a private chat with some our LG here in Ghana and he gave me some more tips. I gave it a trial again and now I have one approved 360 photo !!!. It’s not the best photo I have taken in life I don’t think but it certainly is a beginning(Amateur ). Special thanks to Mukul and Daniel for their time and efforts to help me. Maybe I should also tag @Nuhuu we had an appointment to chat over this but it never worked out,thank you for your effort. Want to try some.more today so off I go again.

I am very much glad that your first 360 photo has been approved. It’s really amazing. Now keep practicing and upload more nice photo. Unfortunately, my phone is creating a problem with 360 which I told on our meet-up and I sent it to the Samsung service center. I am expecting to get it back tomorrow. Anyway, best of luck.
Hello @LudwigGermany thank you for the nice compliments and comment. They are a new experience and enrichment for me as well. I have taken a couple this morning as well if they will be approved or not doesn’t matter much at this stage. Just excited I finally got the hang of it.
they got approved! I saw seven 360° photos in your Maps profile. That’s great.
Small hint: Try not to move while taking a Photosphere. Only rotate the phone so that the app can stitch the photos right. This should improve the quality a lot.
Wow!!! @LudwigGermany that’s kind of you. that’s a very welcome tip and correction. I do really appreciate them. I only started yesterday you. I have tried many many times and didn’t get it,so yesterday was my 1st ones. Thank you for taking the time to look at it. Will try all the tips possible and keep learning.
I have checked them and that a good start. Here’s a little tip: take as much 360 as you can till your phone battery runs down, try to position your center while capturing, and only blur a little portion of recognisable image not all of it.
By the way we didn’t actually have an appointment, we planned on having one. We can still do just private chat me anytime!
Good morning! Thank you for taking the time to check them,that’s very kind of you. They are still very far from being perfect but it’s just a start so that’s allowed . Yes we will see when we can fix another time for a chat on this. I definitely need more coaching advises corrections tips etc.
Thanks !!! They are not great but just that am starting to learn how to take 360°… that’s the thrill. Am not of them all because I have difficulty positioning myself and steadying my hands nevertheless some of them have been approved. Please feel free to criticise correct and give helpful tips to improve on them thanks.
I think hearing it from a learners point of view would be quite interesting @SholaIB ! How you did it, how you learned how to do it, what problems if any you had and how you overcame them etc etc!
