My 10 favorite travel pictures from 20+ countries!

Having visited over 20 countries in the past years, I have LOTS of amazing travel pictures.

I decided to pick the best of them and post them on a newly made photography Instagram account. :camera_flash:

Please send me a private message if you want to receive the link.

Most of my pictures are shot with the Google Pixel 3XL that Google gifted me on Connect 2019. Such a great camera it has!

Exclusively for my fellow Local Guides, I will post below my 10 favorite pictures that I have made over the past years traveling. Enjoy and let me know in a comment which was your favorite one! :hugs:

Hi @Stphn ,

very beautiful photos, thank you for sharing them. I like the most Dubai, Death Valley and Madeira  .

Are they recent trips, also during the pandemic? Since you mentioned that most of the pictures are done with the Pixel 3 :yum: .

Just one note, please edit the explicit advertising of your Instagram profile, you might put it in your signature for example. As you know direct and personal advertising (just like asking to follow you) is not allowed here on Connect.

Hey there @LuigiZ !

Thanks a lot for your kind words. :hugs:

I see that you like the sunrise/sunset pictures!

Madeira and Istanbul were recent trips (August, November & December 2020).

The last 6 pictures are made with the Pixel 3XL, the rest of them are shot with a Samsung Galaxy S8 over the past years. But you can see the difference pretty good on the quality!

Apologies for the explicit advertisement, I updated the initial post.

  1. There is something soothing and dramatic about “lens flare” for me that I really like.

I want to ask many other questions, but I figured, we are not very close and it may be passing my bounds. Good to be able to pick up the soil of 20 countries! Especially that they are “visits” and not “stopovers”.

See you at 100 countries

I totally agree with you @Ewaade_3A , it is my favorite picture too!

Another picture that I shot that I love with the a similar flare that you are talking about is this one. I shot it in Marrakech in Morocco. The flare in combination with the ponytail of the girl is fabulous!

We are all very close here as we have the same passion, so go ahead. You can ask me any question.

The 20 countries are the ones I visited in the past 5 years. The total counter is around 30 approximately, just 70 to go. :joy:

You are a globetrotter @Stphn but it seems you reached the Taj either at the wrong time of the day or the wrong season of the year

All pictures are fabulous :+1:

ahahah. Now, I see you have a robust sense of humor too!

When I want to travel to a place, I begin researching about it, reading reviews, checking airlines, asking questions; like, how receptive they are to visitors, best places to visit, best time to visit, etc. , then I decide which to visit, I was wondering how you make your own selection and if you go just for tourism/leisure purposes.

70 to go, let’s do these :small_airplane: @Stphn

This other one is a burst of ‘colors’ (one color) I know yeah, but I have ‘allergic conjunctivitis’, so I am unable to stare at a photo like this too long. I catch the young girl flipping her hair with so much attitude.

Nice photo.

Thanks my friend @TusharSuradkar !

I was planning to go around sunrise to see the Taj and it was wonderful weather. Unfortunately I had to wait in the queue for more than one hour and suddenly it became foggy. The fog gave it a nice dimension too though.

I definitely have @Ewaade_3A ! :joy:

Most of my trips were leisure, though some were business where I connected it to leisure.

I have actually made a really nice guide (at least that is what I think hehe) of how I plan my trips. You can find it here: How to: travel like a BOSS with Google Maps

How I decide my travel destinations itself, is mostly what I am in the mood for that day and I book an impulsive flight ticket.

Though, I also often book flights just searching for the cheapest tickets out there when I have some time off.

Ooooh yeah, I get what you mean. Don’t stare too long then haha!
