Hello @Travel2Know ,

Thank you for sharing these photos with us, the meal looks very delicious! Did you make it or you were watching someone preparing it?

Looking at the third photo, it seems that this is a dish that takes time to get ready! Am I right? Is it spicy?

Is this meal accompanied or garnished with something, like a salade or some rice? Is it possible to find this meal in restaurants, or it is mainly a homemade one, particularly for the occasions that you’ve mentioned?

Thanks for your interest. Hope this will makes you more interested !

  1. Ofcourse, it’s delicious & Spicy!

No, I didn’t cook it. It was cooked by a “Baburchi” (chef) in our family program few days ago.

  1. Yes, it takes time to cook, even an hour or more depending on the heat of the burner. It’s basically cooked in a bigger dish that tastes different rather cooking in a smaller dish in home.

For Kala vuna- marinated beef is cooked with oil, masala etc.

For Mutton Kacchi Birayani- Raw marinated mutton is layered with rice before being cooked together i.e. rice cooked separately then layered it bottom on the dish then put mutton with masala, again layered rice, again mutton. 1 or 2 layer is used for a bigger dish.

You may find the cooking procedure in my video : https://youtu.be/euM0VTbg2c0

  1. Yes, Beef Kala vuna is served with white rice or Polao rice. Sometimes it is served with Tanduri Rooti (bread). In any programme we serve it with Polao rice (prepared by Bashmoti rich), salade, Borhani etc.

You may find it (the Best one) in the renowned restaurants of Dhaka and Chattogram city.

It’s my pleasure to welcome you with the dishes !

Thanks.
