My story actually begins in March 2015, when I was traveling for the second time to Mauritius Island with my wife.
Our first trip to Mauritius was in September 2011 for our honeymoon. We were immensely mesmerized by the nature and beauties of Indian ocean. I was fortunate enough to marry a lovely girl who’s quite adventurous like myself.
That trip was the turning point of my life where I decided to share my exotic travel experiences with Google Maps community. Why Google Map? Simply because it is by far the richest and most accessible and easy to use service.
In Sep 2015, I moved to London with my wife. She was to pursue her studies in King’s college and I kickstarted my consultancy job.
As an avid food lover, chef and critic, I found London quite appealing to explore the world cuisine and share my honest dining out experiences by contributing to Google Maps. Here is my most viewed photo with over 22k views from Galvin at Windows restaurant in Park Lane, London.
Though London was just the starting point!
Traveling all around UK & Europe, I decided to have a more meaningful contribution to leave detailed reviews of my experiences whether it was restaurants and touristic places like museums or must-visit hidden places that are neglected due to lack of publicity.
This beauty hunting journey spans all around the world and of course my beautiful home country - Iran - is not missed out.
Giving back to Google Maps through contributing to enrich this community further, does so much to help those in need of viable guidance and contribute to the common good. We can give back in different ways, by sharing our honest reviews or sparing some time to share our experiences with some photos to give the world a real sense of our experiences.
No matter how we do it, giving back to our community will touch many people’s lives. So let’s get together and make the Google Maps even more reliable source of information for the whole world to benefit.
