I am also planning to host a meetup event (as of now a photo walk).
I am all ears, please help me pick a place.
I wish to cover an area that is most prominent in Multan and also, we could have our first meetup session in the city.

The Applications will open soon and if you follow Google Local Guide Summit 2017 page , we are almost 11 days away to fill the application form.
As per Google’s guidelines, any Level 5 member can apply. It is however, not sure whether Google is accepting applications from your current country or not.
As per the previous practice, Google is not going to announce which countries are welcomed this year, I believe Google is going to take the applications and then select roughly 70ish candidates for this year’s summit.
It is also important to know that your introductory video must be strong enough to convince Google that it is you that they should pick.
I would reckon start jotting down your script for that 1 minute video because I believe its going to matter.
The other thing that is going to be on Google’s watch list is the contribution you have made, I guess that covers the quality of contributions one made from Level 1 all the way to Level 5.
