On 21st February I went to the Naria Upzila of Sahriatpur District to attend 130.1 meet-up of Bangladesh Local Guides. I visited many beautiful places there that day out of which Mulfotgonj Madrasah Complex seemed most beautiful to me. It is a huge complex area. This complex was established in 1908. So it is 112 years old now. It is a popular tourist and religious spot at Naria. Every day many people come here for religious and sightseeing purposes. I saw two big graveyards on both sides of the entrance. Those graveyards are kept clean nicely. After that, I saw the main complex with a very high tower. You can see this high tower from far away.
Inside the Mulfotgonj Complex, there is a huge mosque where more than 1000 people can say their prayer at a time. There is huge ground in front of the mosque where big gatherings held for the Eid prayers. In the east of the ground, a Madrasah is situated where students can study up to the highest level of the religious class. In the south there is a govern primary school. So this complex has a mixed environment of taking religious and modern education. There is an orphanage also which I have not seen. If you go to Naria at any time, please do not miss this beautiful place to visit. You will get the details about Naria and how to go there on my recap of this meet-up. Thanks to our host @SunMoon for his help to bring me there.
