My joy for posting on Google Maps started with reading reviews about stores and restaurants on Maps. I found that having all of the information that these provide absolutely wonderful for finding new spots to eat and the fact that all of the info can be found in one place is a wonderful benefit of Google Maps.I found that contributing to these reviews and questions is a great way to be a part of the community around me and provide information for those that are looking for things in the area.
Another thing that I want to work toward as a local guide is providing reviews or further information on Mountain Biking trails via Google Maps so that it can be a more reliable resource to the mountain biking community. As MTB is one of my passions I think that having information for this in a source such as Google maps would be a wonderful benefit to the MTB community and those that may be new to it.
