I enjoying adding new places to google maps. My Local guide journey started a few years ago while I was at work, which is located in a remote area; I wanted to give someone direction to my work place but they were confused by the number of turns. I tried sending them my location on whatsapp so they could follow on Maps, that’s when I realized that may work place was not on the Map. I immediately followed the steps to add my work place to the map. I was a great feeling after I saw it on the Map and persons where now using my input as guide as well as adding reviews.
I then started confirming locations, adding new locations and adding new pictures of location in addition to reviewing and answering questions about various places. I believe every location/place should be on Maps and I love being apart of the team that will help people find location all over.
