Mount Fuji, Kawaguchi Lake, Mini-me and I

Mount Fuji.

Japan.

What do you have in mind when you hear the word Japan?

Ramen and sushi? Doraemon, Manga comics? or Mount Fuji?

For me, it’s all of them.

But for sure, I have Mount Fuji on top of my list since this mountain is super famous and I remember my days at my elementary school when we learn about geography.

Whenever we talked about Japan, Mount Fuji would be directly associated to this fascinating country. Besides, who wouldn’t be intrigued by its magnificent view!

When I managed to have a stop-over in Tokyo, I just couldn’t resist the temptation to visit Mount Fuji.

Luckily, my friends in Tokyo were able to drive me to Sato-Nenba and Lake Kawaguchi to see Mt. Fuji closer.

And here’s Mount Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi, Mini-me and I, - both proudly wearing Tenun Lombok, a traditional hand-woven fabrics from West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, proudly .

Cheers,

Awesome photo and awesome story @indahnuria ! Thanks for sharing! I’ve yet to set foot in Japan although I am a huge fan! And your traditional fabric is amazing too; love the colours and pattern! Having not been there, I’m guessing Mount Fuji can be seen from miles away and all around… but is there like a particular spot that is famous for taking pictures? Or just anywhere?

Thanks dear… It was fun doing it and I love all those cultural experiences

Good to know you like it…

I haven’t been to the top but hopefully one day I will… Cheers

You’re right… Mount Fuji is such an incredible mountain it can be seen from many sides indeed. Lake Kawaguchi is one of the favorite spots for it. I also stop at Sato Nenba, a beautiful village near the bottom of Mt. Fuji. I got a chance to wear kimono there :innocent: :innocent:

Hai @indahnuria .
