International Mother Language Day is a worldwide annual observance held on 21 February. In respect of the language martyrs —the lion-hearted students Rafiq, Jabbar, Salam, Borkot and so on who died during a protest at the University of Dhaka on February 21, 1952 Chittagong Local Guides is going celebrate International Mother Language Day by laying down flowers to the Martyr’s Monument (Chittagong Shaheed Minar ) All attendees are requested to bring flowers as a respect to the Martyr’s Dress code- ( Optional ) Male- Panjabi , Female- Saree Colour- White/Red As a token of appreciation, all Local Guides will be given surprise gifts and many more. There was a bug in Local Guides event dates. The event will take place on 21st but the event date was changed to 20th. We are going to discuss about this issue and create a new event. Keep your eye on the calendar.
