I am on level 5 local guide and have 1.15 million views on my photos. I am an Indian 
, currently studying my masters in engineering in Germany

Before moving to Germany for my study, I used to visit different universities on Google maps, to increase my motivation 
! I had visited all tourist places of Berlin and New York with the Google street view 
.
During the initial months in Germany, I was doing a part-time job in a food delivery service . I had to use google maps to find the restaurants and to locate the customer’s residence. Later I knew that these photos and information were not uploaded by the business owners but by the local resident and visitors! I was impressed with this idea of Google and with the tons of people who regularly post such things!
Then I started uploading photos of different places and reviewing them. Once I went to a very beautiful city nearby, called “Wolfsburg”, for some work of magazine distribution at various restaurants. I uploaded photos of the restaurants with owners’ permission and attractive places of the city….
Days passed….After a few months, my semester started 
. One of my classmates came to me and claimed that maybe we had met in the past and he knew me! He has seen me before, he knew my name and I had helped him before! But he was unable to recognise the event.
I was totally surprised because neither I remembered his face nor heard his name outside our classroom 
.
After few days he came to me and opened his google maps. Searched for a place and showed me a photo of a place from Wolfsburg, which was taken by me! And hence the mystery was solved, that he had seen my profile and name on the photo I uploaded! And that is how he knew me before meeting me in person.
Later he told that he is from USA and actually we are good friends now 
. He has started contributing on Google Maps as well!
