I visits different places now and then to try something new all the time. But I stick to my favorite places too. I liked the coffee and breads of Georges Cafe, which is a few meter away from my home.
The best part is, I found this place by the help of google maps and as I use local guides, I searched for this place and after going through all the reviews I decided to visit this place back in 2018. Since then, this place never disappointed me. One fine morning in 2019, I saw that local authority is demolishing this cafe as according to them it was built out of the original property structure. After a few days, they published in their Facebook page that they were officially shutting down their branch in Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I got a bit disheartened. After a while, it hit my mind that there are more people like me, who visits this place now and then to hang out.
So, I went down to that road and marked this place being permanently shut d
own in local guides to let other know about it and so that they don’t come by and get disappointed.
That is the most interesting thing that I’ve done as a local guide in my area.
