Morning Walk with Greater Kudu, South Africa

Hi Guys,

This is a new series of posts of all the wild jungles we have here in South Africa. It’s a beautiful country with a lot of countrysides, a lot of forest/game reserves, jungle safaris, rivers, mountains, plains, trekking and adventure sports.

In this feature, I will introduce you to a lot of animals which we can see in the forest reserves running here and there.

These pictures were taken using my ages old Panasonic FZ5Camera in a game reserve we went to for seeing elephants, lions, leopards, etc but could not find any of the BIG 5 as they call them here.

All we could see was these Greater Kudu having a morning walk around the jungle.
Cheers!!!

Hi @TheLifesWay ,

Amazing! Thanks for sharing your photos. I agree, I’ve experienced some of the best nature in South Africa. I especially enjoy safaris and my visit to Pilanesberg National Park was a real treat.

Have you visited the Kruger National Park?

@OliverKIWI Hi, Yeah Animals are just on the roads in the game reserve and once one came so close to safari jeep that his horns were just touching my head. It all depends on the Game Reserve Safari drivers if they want to show you good locations or not. Cheers!!! Aashish

Hi @AlexaAC I will definitely check out your journey to Pilanesburg National Park. I have been to PNP like many times and it is whenever we can’t go to Kruger National Park. I did a 5 days trip recently in December, stayed inside the Kruger National Park and measured the whole length of the park from one camp to another. Maybe I should share more posts from that journey. Thanks a lot for liking and commenting. Cheers!!! Aashish

@Sham777 I am not at all remembering the park name as it was some private reserve with very fewer animals. One of our friends purchased the tickets on Godaddy and took us all there for his birthday. It was near Pretoria, South Africa. Not worth remembering the name also when we have some great parks in the country. Thanks Aashish Rai
