More Than a Match, It’s an Experience: World Cup Screening Spots in Delhi NCR Noida

Hello Fellow Local Guides,

Inspired by the insightful tips shared by @Latika_Malhotra in her post, Be a digital host: join the World Cup list challenge , I am excited to contribute to this wonderful initiative by curating a Google Maps List of some popular venues in Delhi NCR, particularly Noida, where football enthusiasts can come together to enjoy FIFA World Cup screenings on the big screen.

As Local Guides, we are more than contributors; we are digital hosts who help people discover authentic local experiences, hidden gems, and memorable places. Through this list, I hope to showcase venues that not only screen football matches but also create an atmosphere where fans can celebrate the spirit of the beautiful game together[1].

Football is often called The Beautiful Game, but for fans, a FIFA World Cup match is much more than ninety minutes of action on the field. It is the excitement before kick-off, the collective roar when a goal is scored, the anxious moments during a penalty shootout, and the unforgettable celebrations shared with fellow supporters.

Over the years, I have realized that watching a World Cup match at the right venue transforms the entire experience. The giant screens, passionate fans, vibrant ambiance, delicious food, engaging conversations, and shared emotions create memories that last far beyond the final whistle.

Inspired by this passion, I curated a Google Maps List featuring some of the popular venues across Delhi NCR Noida:

As Local Guides, we often create lists that help people discover places, experiences, and stories. This list is my way of combining two passions; exploring local destinations and celebrating the world’s most loved sport.

Because sometimes the destination is not just the venue itself; it is the experience, the memories, the friendships, and the stories created along the way.

:round_pushpin: Check out the Google Maps List: World Cup Screening in Delhi NCR Noida and feel free to share your favorite football screening venues and experiences in the comments. Together, we can help fellow fans discover the best places to enjoy the World Cup.

Thanks for this post and the list, @Kumaarsantosh . We can feel the excitement growing up every day, while the world cup is approaching.
However, I’m curious to know: do you usually follow football?
I’m asking because the ball in your cover image is … a baseball or a tennis ball :baseball:, not a football (or soccer, in the USA) ball :soccer_ball:. And the field too seems to be a baseball field.
So at first I supposed you were writing a post about Tennis, that on this moment is followed a lot on my country

I want to tell @Kumaarsantosh from the very beginning that it look exactly like a baseball stadium — and even the ball looked like a baseball; in fact, I was completely sure that it is a baseball. But at that exact moment, the discussion in the comments section started heating up, so I decided it was better to stay quiet. Later, I worried that if I pointed it out, Santosh might feel offended, so in the end, I chose not to say anything at all. Anyway, you point it thanks @ErmesT sir

Thank you, @ErmesT, for your helpful feedback. The necessary correction has been made.

Looks interesting, dear friend @Kumaarsantosh
The FIFA 26 matches are supposed to run between 12:30 night to 10:30 morning… I really don’t know how many restaurants would be able to catch up with these timings…
Just my loud thoughts…

Yes, you are absolutely right, dear friend @TravellerG. This is not something unique to Delhi NCR or any specific city; it is a situation that can be seen across many regions of our country.

That said, during major sporting events and similar occasions, certain exceptions are sometimes made at specific locations for an extended duration, as mentioned in the footnote of the main post.

Your observation is both valid and insightful, and the concern you have highlighted is indeed relevant throughout India. Thank you for sharing your perspective and contributing positively to the discussion. Such thoughtful exchanges help create awareness and strengthen the spirit of our community.

Youy are a great example for that.

Ohh…did I miss it?.. fine…
Yes, many countries in Asia may be affected…
Of course, mad fans may wake up (with the help of alarm) and may watch it at home… according to me…

Thanks for your kind response, dear friend @Kumaarsantosh

It ultimately depends on what information users are looking for and where they wish to explore. While Google Maps offers many useful features, it also has certain limitations by design, which I believe you would agree with, dear friend @TravellerG. These boundaries are important, as they help maintain a balance between providing helpful information and respecting individual privacy and security.
