Days are extremely hot here in India, touching 46-48°C each day. The seasonal rains (Monsoon) have arrived in coastal India but will reach the centre and north by a month. However with all that, the full moon today did give some calmness and serene experience. It’s not a larger full moon just a normal one. It’s called Flower moon in parts of America because it’s full bloom season of flowers and carries various significance in different parts of the World. Skies were good so decided to snap a few photos.
Shot with Nikkor 300mm kit lens at 1/320 SS and 6.3f.

Hi @Trail_blazer ,
This is a great picture, with beautiful detail.
You might enjoy a post I created on “What is considered an acceptable photographic edit”. There are a number of links to content about taking pictures of the moon - something I love too!
Cheers,
Nigel

@nigelfreeney I think I have been through your post last year. But moonshots are my hobby and the only reason I purchased a DSLR however I never posted a moonshots at Gmaps. I think Gmaps is pretty strict about editing limits. Gmaps inbuilt editing used to provide a great contrast and exposures and filters too but I noticed they have very poor rate of featuring at POI so it’s totally waste of time. Now policies have been revised editing threshold is very low. Gmaps features raw and nicely shot photos but I have no idea what’s happening with video media. I just try to keep them as is with proper lighting that’s it.

I live in the Mojave Desert in California, and it is 100 degrees (f) right now. But it’s a dry heat, only 11% humidity!

In India we celebrate Buddha Purnima with great enthusiasm. On this day Buddha Vandana is performed at home as well as in Budh Vihar and milk pudding is eaten, various cultural programs are held at many places.

@WhisperingSage it’s extremely hot here in India one of the hottest May in 80 odd years temp has been hovering from 115 to 122 Fahrenheit in Northern India. At night it’s around 94 to 97°F. It has been like this for 12 days. From today onwards we will have some relief.
@Raj_Tayade Thanks for the comment. Maybe you wanna check this post out. I, myself, am an Indian

Oh je, bei diesen Nachttemperaturen ist derzeit Schlaf sicher nicht erholsam.
Ich freue mich gerade über 25 Grad im Schatten, meine Wohlfühltemperatur über den Tag

@Annaelisa we are pretty used to 44°C during day and 30-34°C at night but when it’s above that it’s uncomfortable because powerplants can’t handle the constantly rising power demands hence there are power cuts however in cities we don’t have powercut generally. In last 2 weeks more than 350 died of heat strokes and tens of vehicles charred to ashes on road, AC bursted in flames. By the way May last week and few weeks in June are mostly like this.

Das ist wohl so.
Wenn Nord - und Südpol nicht gefriert sondern das Eis abschmelzt und die Meeresspiegel steigen ist es sehr schlecht bestellt für alle Menschen.
