#monthlytopic of September 2020-the most famous places for sweets and deserts in Moscow.

Dear local guides

Today I would like to share the best places im Moscow ,where you can get desserts and sweets.This post is inspired by @HiroyukiTakisawa as a # monthlytopic of September 2020 which theme is sweets and desserts in your region.

I would like to tell you about famous cake" Moscow" and dessert ''Anna Pavlova"

Cake “Moscow” was created in 2015.

The cake is very easy to prepare, there are no rare or difficult to handle products. These are egg whites, boiled condensed milk, ground hazelnuts and ground hazelnuts, butter, sugar, cognac and white chocolate to cover.

"Anna Pavlova ''Cake

Pavlova cake is one of the variants of the popular Australian cake created a hundred years ago in honor of the great Russian ballerina. The dessert consists of French meringue, whipped cream and fresh berries and impresses with refinement, brightness and great taste.the Classic Pavlova dessert is made in the form of a cake, the lower layer of which is an airy meringue cake, and the top is whipped cream and berries. It is not difficult to make it, because the protein mass should be baked at a temperature of 120 degrees for 1.5 hours in the oven, which can not be opened until the end of the process.

Ingredients:

  • proteins - 6 PCs.;

  • powdered sugar-340 g;

  • vinegar - 30 ml;

  • starch-40 g;

  • cream 35% - 350 g;

  • strawberries-10 PCs.

Preparation

  1. Whisk the whites with powdered sugar, vinegar and starch.
  2. Put the mass on parchment and bake at 120 degrees for 90 minutes.
  3. Fill the product with whipped cream and strawberries.

Resently I visited famous butique "ZAMOK SLADOSTEY"or “CASTLE OF SWEETS”

BOUTIQUE FOR SWEET TOOTH — MORE THAN 300 TYPES OF NATURAL-BASED SWEETS

The store is designed as a fantasy castle. The interior of the store resembles a dragon’s castle, where It guards its treasures in the form of sweets. All products are presented in barrels and chests made of natural wood

For all sweets - more than 300 types, one price and buyers, without thinking about the price, can take everything in one package.

Here you will find a huge selection of marmalade, souffle, toffee and many sweets in chocolate glaze: - strawberries, raspberries, black currants, blackberries, cherries. - almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, pecans, walnuts. The range is very huge for every taste and for the most demanding customer. There is a throne at the entrance so that small visitors can take photos .

I tried similar sweets in Belgium and Sweden. Now the same ones have appeared in the center of Moscow.

Patisserie “Café Pushkin”

Cafe Pushkin is a charming place in the center of Moscow with a magnificent and refined interior for tea, romantic dates, and meetings with friends. Cafe Pushkin confectionery opened in 2006 next to the restaurant of the same name.

Here you can buy various desserts-cakes, pastries, macaroons, handmade sweets. All products have an exquisite taste. You can not only buy sweets for tea, but also sit over a Cup of fragrant tea or coffee in a romantic atmosphere and admire the magnificent interiors of the cafe.

Thank you so much @HiroyukiTakisawa for your reply.

It is hand made candies ,made from coconut, chocolate and vanilla and caramel.

In this cafe the cakes are really tasty. Your questionis really interesting.) Yes, I taste body parts gummies, but I do not like them. They have specific taste, Not everyone person like it.

I taste such gummies in Sweeden.

In Moscow I do not try them. I like candies such as --different fruits and nuts in chocolate.)

The taste of these gummies, that you mentioned in your comment—from salt to sour, tart, sometimes unpleasant taste.

But there is gummies with pleasant delicate taste of rose or bananas or other fruits.

What is the best delicious cake or sweets in Japan?

Best wishes,

Inga

You are right, I am really sweet tooth :grinning: .I like cakes and chocolate very much.

What is your favourite dessert?

Hello, @helga19

It’s a really difficult question but speaking of the most popular Japanese sweet ingredient is Anko (sweet red bean paste). We use it for many traditional sweets like @yamamo_cchi 's #monthlytopic Recommended Souvenirs of Fukuoka Prefecture/福岡県のおすすめお土産. The brown one in the photo of “Inside the Monaka” is Anko. Of course, I LOVE it too!
